2014 will be the year dedicated to children’s rights. Following the example of the United Nations, Bulgaria’s State Agency for Child Protection lunched an initiative, according to which each month will be dedicated to two specific children’s rights. The campaign in Bulgaria will be carried out under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister, Daniela Bobeva.
The initiative is associated with 25th anniversary of the adoption of UN Convention on the rights of the child. It will include information campaigns, competitions and contests, conferences, discussions and meetings between relevant child support agencies and institutions in various towns and cities in the country. Refugee children will also be invited to participate.
