False negative PCR tests for Covid-19 were presented to the Romanian border authorities by three Bulgarians.
They tried to enter Romania across the Danube bridge yesterday, November 8.
Romanian Border Police officers doubted the authenticity of the documents of two men, aged 41 and 17, and a woman, 38, who said they intended to travel to Romania. Additional inspections were carried out jointly with representatives of the Public Health Directorate in Giurgiu. Thus, it became clear that the tests presented by the Bulgarians were not issued by the denoted clinics.
According to the protocol for joint control at the border checkpoint, the three people were returned to the Bulgarian authorities in order to continue the investigation and to order the necessary legal measures against them.
