Bulgaria’s Council of Ministers has approved a new list of national roads for which tolls will be collected and cancelled the previous list from 2020. The new list also includes secondary roads.
It updates the information on the toll segments of motorways, first and second class roads, which are a distinct part of the routes included in the toll road network on which the toll is collected.
Changes have been made to the number, name, start and end point, length in metres and kilometres of the specific segment of motorways, first and second class roads subject to tolling.
They will lead to a significant improvement in the accountability of the toll segments, which will lead to an improvement in the toll collection rate.
