Torrential rain in Rousse, Northern Bulgaria, caused flooded streets, fallen tree branches, clogged rain-catching shafts. Traffic of cars on the central boulevards was difficult. Some 35 l per square metre of rain fell over the city last night, 25th of June.
As a result of the downpour, pieces of stone broke off a balcony of a residential buildingand fell on a street pavement and the road. No people were injured and no cars were damaged.
