Victoria’s “Tears Getting Sober” is in the top 30 all-time favourite Eurovision songs

The song "Tears Getting Sober" performed by Victoria is among the top 30 all-time favourite Eurovision songs. The Bulgarian song, which was supposed to represent the country at the cancelled contest in 2020 in Rotterdam, was ranked 26th.

The annual "ESC TOP 250" ranks the 250 most beloved Eurovision songs of the spectators of the contest and is organized and broadcast by ESC Radio.

Three more Bulgarian songs entered the top 100 of the chart for 2020. The song "If Love Was A Crime" by Poli Genova, which represented Bulgaria at Eurovision 2016, ranked 33rd, "Beautiful Mess" by Christian Kostov, who sang for Bulgaria at Eurovision 2017 in Kiev, took 41st place in "ESC TOP 250", and the Bulgarian song at Eurovision 2018 "Bones" ranked 93rd.

For the ninth consecutive year, Sweden’s Loreen who won the 2012 Eurovision contest was placed first at "ESC TOP 250" with her song Euphoria. Eleni Foureira and the song “Fuego” that had caused a sensation at Eurovision 2018 was ranked second. The winner of Eurovision 2019 Duncan Lawrence with the hit ballad "Arcade" was placed third.

2020 was a very successful year for Victoria. She got a second chance to represent Bulgaria on the stage of Eurovision and to sing in front of nearly 200 million spectators in May 2021, her song "Tears Getting Sober" conquered some of the most prestigious music radio and TV charts in Europe and attracted the attention of hundreds of international media. The song led the betting odds of winning the contest until the cancellation

Eurovision 2021 will be held in Rotterdam on May 18, 20 and 22. Viewers in Bulgaria can watch the show live on BNT 1 from 10 pm. The participation of our country is realized as a public-private partnership between BNT and Ligna Group, with the support of the fintech company iCard.
