We are finalising the last details, I hope today we will finalise the coalition government agreement itself, said Kiril Petkov, co-chair of "We Continue the Change" party, which won the largest share of votes in the November 14 elections and is the largest parliamentary group.
Tomorrow, December 9, the Bulgarian Socialist Party should convene its internal assembly and if everything goes according to plan, we should have a finalised document with ministries and names on Thursday. And we are ready to receive the government forming mandate, most likely tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Things are moving, last night until 1 o'clock we were reviewing the individual points, but the details are very important, said Kiril Petkov.
According to him, everything is going according to plan and in specific terms.

On December 6 and 7, Bulgaria’s President Radev held consultations with representatives of the seven parliamentary groups. He met “We Continue the Change”, the GERB-UDF coalition, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the Bulgarian Socialist Party on December 6 and “There is Such a People”, Democratic Bulgaria and Vuzrazhdane on December 7.
“We Continue the Change” has held talks with three other parliamentary groups – the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), "There is Such a People" party and the Democratic Bulgaria coalition to form a regular cabinet.
The four parties will have a parliamentary majority of 134 seats, out of 240 in total, which is enough to vote a government into office if they reach an agreement.
