The police from Bulgaria’s capital Sofia detained 17 undocumented foreigners, the press office of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior said on 13th of October. The foreigners were found at an address in Moderno Predgradie suburb in Sofia which was checked after a reported signal.
The foreigners, among which there are children, claimed they were from Syria and Iraq. They were taken to the local police station for identification and then will be referred to the competent authorities.
Actions were taken for the identification and detention of the owner of the apartment.
