The vaccination of Ministry of Interior employees against Covid-19 started on February 10. The immunization process was organized by the Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior and began after it was supplied with 3,000 doses of the vaccine.
Three medical teams of the hospital, within a few hours today, gave the first dose to 210 police officers and employees of Sofia regional directorate of the Ministry of Interior, who were included in the list of those willing to take the vaccine.

A preliminary organisation has been set up at the Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior and a plan has been prepared according to which, in addition to the capital, mobile teams will also start immunizing employees of other regional directorates across the country.

The employees of the Ministry of Interior fall into Phase 3 of the National Vaccination Plan, because they work in sectors with vital functions for the public. Priority group will include frontline employees. The lists will be updated on a regular basis, as dynamics in the number of staff willing to get the vaccine is expected.
