33% of the medics in the country have expressed willingness to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, Dr. Georgi Pazderov, Director of the Regional Health Inspectorate in Bourgas said on December 14.
The Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov met today with the heads of the six RHIs, responsible by regions for the implementation of the national vaccination plan, approved in early December. According to the plan, doctors, nurses, paramedics and police officers were first in line to get the covid-19 vaccine.
The algorithm of the so-called roadmap of the immunization process was prepared at today’s meeting, Dr. Pazderov said. It includes logistics, organization of offices.
47 mobile teams across the country will be involved in the vaccination, he explained.

Medical professionals are at high risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 and can transmit the infection to people at risk. The vaccine will allow them to continue to fulfill their professional commitments.
