A total of 51 are the cases of measles in Bulgaria at the moment, the chief state health inspector Dr. Angel Kunchev said on 27th of February in connection with the spread of the infectious disease. For one day the number of infected patients has increased by five.
Yesterday, the first case of measles in Varna was registered – a 40 years old woman and four more were registered in Blagoevgrad. The Chief Health Inspector made a comparison with 2018 when there were 13 cases of measles.
Angel Kunchev, Chief State Health Inspector: In Blagoevgrad region there are 40 cases of measles, Sofia-city - 7, Sofia-district - 3, Varna - 1. Of these 51 cases, only three are with incomplete immunisation, all others are not immunised.
