A worker from Bobov Dol mine died in the morning on 22nd of December, the local police in South Bulgarian city of Kyustnendil said. The accident happened at the end of the third shift before 6:00 o’çlock, BNR said. The man was pressed by a machine unloading coal. He was heavily injured and later died in hospital.
The workplace accident took place during maneuvers, as a result of which a 51 year-old miner died, the Labour Inspection Directorate in Kystendil explained. A team of the Labour Inspection arrived in the mine to investigate the exact causes for the accident.
