A roadmap to reform the energy sector in Bulgaria will be prepared by a joint work group with participants from the government and the business community. This was agreed between the nationally represented employers’ organizations and Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at a meeting in the Council of Ministers on 16th of September.
Also envisaged are a moratorium on the preferences for purchase and sale of electricity, inclusion of employers in the management boards of state-owned energy companies and a register of all preferential producers of electricity.
