About 150 Bulgarian lorries have been blocked between Serbia and Croatia, the Bulgarian Association of the Road Transport Unions told BNT on 25th of September.
Until 24th of September, many Bulgarian lorries were delayed at the border crossing Batrovci – Baykovo, but some of them were redirected towards Hungary. All haulers travelling to Italy and South of France have to bypass through Hungary and Slovenia, but this route is 500 km longer.
Bulgaria’s Ministry of Transport has notified the Serbian authorities, requesting a solution to the problem.
On 23rd of September, Croatia banned Serbian citizens and cars from entering its territory. The move came after Serbia banned the entry of all Croatian registered cargo vehicles and goods
