Additional 223 million BGN will be provided for the area of education for 2017, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said on 4th of October following a meeting with the trade unions, attended by the Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov.
BNT reporter Irina Tsoneva said that before the start of today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, PM Borissov said that unlike previous governments, the current government was able to allocate the funds for education because it collected additional revenue of 1 billion BGN.
He said the decision was discussed with the finance minister.
