Higher levels of fine particulate matter in Sofia are expected on 21st of December, the air quality monitoring authorities said yesterday. The Education Minister Krassimir Valchev instructed the school principals to take measures to protect the health of the students.
The schools were required to inform parents on the expected critical levels of fine particlcels in the air and to allow children with chronic lung diseases to be absent from classes today.
