From this week, Bulgaria is among the countries which construct aircrafts. The model “Skyleader 600, which will be assembled in Bulgaria’s “Terem” plant was presented at Lesnovo airport on 6th of August and garnered the applause of the people who came to see it.
The aircrafts are designated for recreational flying, but can be also used in special operations related to disasters, forests fires and others.
The new aircraft is an all metal two-seat, low wing, constructed aircraft with a trapezoidal wing. It weighs 472 kg.
Last time aircrafts were built in Bulgaria was in the 50-ties.
Both “Terem” plant and the private company, which made the investment are satisfied that this type of production was restored.
