Alley for crafts presented in Sandanski

For two days, a Craft Alley was held in Sandanski. Masters from all over the country presented forgotten Bulgarian crafts.

Unique folk instruments, gourd dolls, beautiful carvings, embroidery or handmade jewelery were presented at the Craft Alley.

Zdravka Kupenova: It is very beautiful, there are many interesting and different things. Very beautiful hand-made cups, magnets and T-shirts with folklore motifs. Thus, the traditions will be kept alive longer.

Goranka Kirova presented handbags with emrodery.

Ognyan Pandichev shows the jewelery he made, inspired by ancient ornaments for folk costumes.

Ognyan Pandichev, Pleven: The jewels are silver-plated and made of alloy of aluminum and copper. Its characteristic is that it does not contain nickel, it's anti-allergic. Everything is hand-made.

Alley of crafts is organised for the fourth time in the south Bulgarian town of Sandanski, with more than 30 craftsmen participating this year.
