BNT invites parties to sign the agreement for covering parliamentary elections campaign

Bulgarian National Television (BNT) on February 23 invited the parties, coalitions of political parties and nomination committees that have registered candidates for the April 4 parliamentary elections to sign agreement for covering the election campaign in the programme of the public service broadcaster BNT.

Due to the introduced anti-epidemic measures, BNT announces three consecutive dates for signing the agreement - February 24, 25 and 26 from 10.30 to 16.30, in the BNT building in Sofia at 29 San Stefano Street, in the Legal Affairs Directorate.

The representatives who will sign the agreement are required to carry an identity card and a power of attorney to represent the political organization.

A total of 25 parties and 6 coalitions have been registered with the Central Election Commission to participate in the upcoming parliamentary vote. The deadline for registration expired at 17.00 on February 17.

A total of 31 parties and 8 coalitions submitted documents. Bulgaria's Central Election Commission refused to register 6 parties for entry in the April 4, 2021 parliamentary elections.
