BNT Launched “European Parliament 2025” Project

The Bulgarian National Television launched on 18^th of October its latest project entitled "EP 2025", through which viewers will learn about the work of the European institutions and how they can directly influence their decisions. The project is co-financed by the European Parliament and the productions will be broadcast during the Bulgarian presidency.

This is the largest project so far by the Bulgarian National Television. Political reality, a series of documentaries, a traveling studio, discussions and a special internet platform will bring the idea of the European Union closer to viewers.

“The Bulgarian Travel across Europe” will present three scenarios for the future of Europe seen through the prism of four young people.

The "Promise" is of a competitive nature. MEPs will compete for the approval of the public.

The "Travellig Studio of BNT2" will allow the voice of citizens to be heard - how the European Union's policies directly influnce their lives. Two live broadcasts in a discussion format will focus on the regional dimensions of Bulgaria’s EU membership.

"If I were an MEP" is an online platform in which everyone can try to be a politician, and in the "Under Magnifying Glass" module there will be video screens with brief explanations.

All five formats will be broadcast with sign language translation.
