The Director General of the Bulgarian National Television, Konstantin Kamenarov, and the Director-General of Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK), Mentor Shalia, signed a co-operation agreement on 31st of October. The two public service broadcasters will exchange programmes in the areas of culture, education, science, sports, entertainment, and up-to-date information on events in each country.
The agreement also provides for exchange of experience and specialists, organization of joint events, seminars and trainings, dissemination of good communication practices and other forms of cooperation of mutual interest.
RTK is the public service broadcaster in Kosovo. It operates four TV channels and two radio stations and broadcasts programming in 5 languages.
The official signing of the partnership agreement was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kosovo in Bulgaria. Mr. Shpend Kallaba, Mimoza Hasani-Plana - a member of the Board of Directors of RTK and the Director of RTK International Relations Elvana Prekazi.
