In order to enhance transparency and strengthen the feedback between audience and electronic media, the Bulgarian Council for Electronic Media (CEM) will publish weekly reports on the number of audience complaints received by the regulator, the CEM said on 19th of October.
The registration of such complaints is an indication for the sensitivity of the audience and will not automatically lead to imposition of sanctions, the regulator noted.
CEM also pointed out that the idea for publishing weekly reports on audience complaints was inspired by the example of the communication regulator in the UK, Ofcom.
The first two reports have already been published on CEM's website.
