Bulgaria’s PM and Swiss Ambassador Muriel Berset Kohen visited cable assembly factory in Targovishte

In the city of Targovishte, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said that, fortunately, many European companies have realised that they have to manufacture the equipment for treatment of coronavirus themselves. He and the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bulgaria Muriel Berset Cohen visited a factory with more than 100 employees, which produce parts, including for medical equipment and respirators.

Prime Minister Borissov highlighted the government's active work in supporting business and investment in Bulgaria. He said that with good infrastructure, foreign companies are given the opportunity to invest not only in the big cities of the country, but also in smaller ones such as Targovishte. He stressed that he is optimistic about the fight against the coronavirus.
