Bulgaria’s President Roumen Radev met with the President of the European Court of Justice, Koen Lenaerts, on 29th of September in Sofia.
The two discussed issues related to the implementation of EU law in Bulgaria in the past 10 years of the country's membership in the Union.
Highlights of the talks also included the cohesion policy between individual Member States and the need for justice and security for every European citizen.
The Bulgarian judge at the European Court of Justice, Alexander Arabadzhiev, also attended the meeting.
