Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov congratulated Theresa May on her appointment as the new Prime Minister of the UK, Bulgaria’s government press office announced on 14th of July.
“I believe that in the difficult period in which you assume this great responsibility, you will find the solutions that are good for the UK and Europe, “ PM Borissov said. He wished her success and courage.
In a telegramme to the outgoing Prime Minister David Cameron, Borissov says: “Please accept my sincere appreciation for the efforts you made as Prime Minister of the UK for the development of the relations with Bulgaria and elevating them to a higher level of trust. I hope you will use the experience gained to maintain the good relations between the governments and the peoples of our countries."
Borissov expressed his great impressions from the mutual cooperation and personal relations with David Cameron and wished good health, happiness and success to him and his family.
