On the second day of his visit to Rabat Bulgarian PM Boyko Borissov met his Moroccan counterpart Saadeddine Othmani.
“In recent months both countries have been actively working together on security, terror and migration”, Borissov said at the presser following the signing up of an Administrative Agreement to the bilateral Social Security Agreement. He pointed out that trade between Bulgaria and Morocco had increased by some 30 per cent, mostly due to business relations in construction industry, pharma industry, food and fertilizer manufacturing.
Saadeddine Othmani welcomed the decision to set up a Bulgarian-Moroccan joint committee working on business projects in these two countries and across Africa. He thanked his guest for including businessmen in his delegation who participated in the business forum in Casablanca.
Boyko Borissov invited the PM of Morocco to visit Bulgaria early next year and discuss cooperation in the field of military industry and some other spheres of common interest.
