On 16th of October Bulgaria marks the day of aviation and air force. 105 years ago on this date (in 1912) two Bulgarian pilots for the first time used a plane in a military battle.
A wreath laying ceremony will be held in front of the Monument of the Pilot at National Assembly Square in Sofia.
Doors open day is organized in the airbase at Vrazhdebna. The Aviation Museum in Krumovo will offer free-of–charge visits.
On the aviation day, President Roumen Radev will open a discussion on Bulgaria's role in the common European defence.
