The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,851 from 19,869 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 24.
3,056 were confirmed from PCR and 1,795 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 171; Bourgas - 496; Varna - 369; Veliko Turnovo – 93; Vidin – 21; Vratsa - 173; Gabrovo – 54; Dobrich - 74; Kardzhali - 57; Kyustendil - 78; Lovech - 57; Montana - 49; Pazardzhik - 77; Pernik - 105; Pleven – 160; Plovdiv - 358; Razgrad - 14; Rousse - 148; Silistra - 73; Sliven - 100; Smolyan – 92; Sofia district - 219; Sofia city – 1,352; Stara Zagora - 136; Targovishte - 22; Haskovo - 130; Shoumen – 101; Yambol - 72.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 312,741.
The active cases are 60,832.
Of the total, 8,927 patients are in hospitals, 729 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,571 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 239,602;
· 12,436 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 388,805;
· 119 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 12,307.
