Bulgaria’s government sent humanitarian aid to Macedonia after the flooding in the Skopje and the region, which hit the country after torrential rain and storm on 6th and 7th of August. More than 20 people died.
The aid is worth 120,000 BGN (60,000 euro) and is in the form of equipment such as tents, cots, protective kits, disinfectants, more than 35 tonnes of drinking water, water pumps.
The three lorries of aid arrived in Skopje on 17th of August.
