The Bulgarian government approved the country’s hosting of the 40th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the 15th General Assembly of the international Orgnaisation of Vine and Wine, which will take place in the period 29th of May – 2nd of June 2017 in Sofia.
Holding of such prestigious forum will give a huge publicity for the Bulgarian wine and for Bulgaria as a wine producing country. An event of such a scale will give an exceptional opportunity for exchange of experience and good presentation of the country as a destination for cultural and wine tourism.
Within the congress, experts from the whole world will present their achievements, will discuss scientific and technical topics and will be able to exchange experience and innovations.
The congress will be attended by more than 1,000 representatives from all 46 member-states of the International Organisation of the Vine and wine.
