65 migrants, who illegally crossed into Bulgaria were detained by the Bulgarian border police at Kapitan Andreevo check point (border with Turkey), the press office of the Ministry of Interior said on 10th of October.
The migrants were hidden in a freight train.
They claimed they were from Syria.
They were discovered by the police about 4 a.m. on 10th of October on a freight train carrying iron ore. It was identified that the canvas roof of the wagon was cut. The work on the case in ongoing.
In a similar case on 30th of September, the Bulgarian border police discovered 56 illegal migrants in a freight train arriving from Turkey.
