The Bulgarian consular services on the territory of the Russian Federation have resumed accepting applications and issuing visas for all Russian citizens wishing to travel to Bulgaria.
The company VFS Global, which 59 visa centers in Russia also accept documents for Bulgarian visas, was informed about this - both last week and today May 5.
Two weeks ago, Bulgaria’s outgoing Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva ordered the consular services of the Republic of Bulgaria to prepare for the issuance of tourist visas. The /bulgarian embassy in Moscow last week held a meeting with all tour operators, as well as with the company VFS Global.
Visa procedures for Russian citizens have been eased as much as possible.
Applications for Bulgarian visas can be submitted in 59 cities and 3 consulates on the territory of Russia.
Local tour operators accredited to consular services can submit visa applications to their clients electronically.
Those wishing to visit Bulgaria for tourist purposes receive their visas at the consular offices, at the office of their tour operator or external contractor, without any formalities for them.
