Bulgaria’s government allocates 40,000 BGN to assist the neigbouring country Macedonia to deal with the consequences of the severe flooding.
By order of the Bulgarian Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications, Ivaylo Moskovski, the aid has already been delivered to the Bulgarian Red Cross.
Children in the areas recovering from the disaster will receive more than 6,200 jars of baby food and 5,000 diapers. The aid supplies include more than 22,000 litres of bottled water, 8,200 tins of food, other products and technical equipment for dealing with the damages from the flooding, Transport ministry announced as quoted by BGNESS agency.
The campaign is
part of the government initiative for assistance to Macedonia for recovery after the disaster, which occurred in the regions of Skopje and Tetovo0 on 6th and 7th of August.
