“The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and I discussed the migrant crisis, the implementation of the agreement between the EU and Turkey, as well as issues on the agenda of the ongoing conference on Afghanistan in Brussels,” Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov wrote on Facebook on 5th of October.
“I expressed my satisfaction with the agreement reached between the European Union and Afghanistan on the management of migration flows which will facilitate the return to their home country of Afghanis who have been refused asylum in the EU,” Borissov added.
“ I said some time ago that I was prepared to submit a proposal to Parliament to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan if this problem is not solved quickly. We had raised the question directly to our EuroAtlantic partners and I am glad that this right decision was reached,” Borissov wrote.
