On 15th of August, Bulgaria’s fastest sprinter Ivet Lalova qualified for the 200 m semifinal at the Olympic athletics tournament in Rio de Janeiro. Lalova was the fastest in the seventh series, covering the distance in 22.61 seconds.
Despite the slow start, she overtook her rivals and in the last meters even visibly slowed down.
The 200 m finals will be held at 04:00 a.m. on 17th of August.
