Bulgaria’s Commission for Protection of Consumers is going to open 4 offices in the country’s ski resorts in Bansko, Pamporovo, Borovets and Chepelare, where visitors will be able to submit complaints and signals for violations. The offices will be opened in the mid-December.
The Commission has also started inspections on the complexity of the slopes and the safety of the skiing facilities. These checks aim at ensuring the safety and security of the tourists.
Skiing zone in Bansko began working on 4th of December, including 4 ski runs. Tourists can get there by cabin lift and 6-person chairlift. Snow grooming machines prepare the ski runs.
The official opening of the ski season will take place on 17th of December. Specialists have already checked the compliance of the facilities with the technical requirements.
Three of the lifts in Pamporovo will start working from 7th of December following all required technical checks. The opening date of the ski season in Pamporovo is 10th of December. On that day, tourists will be able to use the ski facilities free-of-charge.
