Natural gas price for the fourth quarter of 2017 goes down by 7% compared to the previous quarter, Bulgaria’s Energy and Water Regulatory commission (EWRC) said on 29th of September. The price drops to 343 BGN per 1000 cubic meters, i.e. by 27BGN.
For district heating companies in the country this means a 5% reduction, Ivan Ivanov, the Chair of EWRC explained.
However, the end price for district heating users remains unchanged.
For natural gas users through suppliers, the price also drops by 5%. The new gas price will enter into force on 1 October 2017.
