Bulgaria’s Parliament on February 17 rejected the President's veto on provisions of the Law on the Spatial Planning. 122 MPs supported the re-adoption of the bill, 57 were against, one abstained.
Bulgaria’s President vetoed the changes to the law on February 5th. He does not agree with certain texts, which, in his opinion, distance the regulation from "basic constitutional principles and reduce the intensity of the protection of the rights of citizens and legal entities."
