Bulgaria’s Head of State, President Rumen Radev, on April 9 expressed his condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family on the occasion of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip.
In the letter, the President stated that the Duke of Edinburgh would be remembered as a highly respected, active public figure and activist in the UK, the British community and the world.
"Please, accept the deep recognition to the work of Prince Philip from the thousands of Bulgarian young people - participants in the international Youth Programme, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, for his care and responsibility for the future of young people," said President Rumen Radev in his condolence address. to Her Majesty Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
