Careless drivers will pay by up to 150% higher insurances. There will be a bonus for those who do not cause road accidents, which will result in 20%-25% reduction in the cost of the insurance. This becomes possible after the Financial Supervision Commission issued an Ordinance, which envisages connection between the information systems of the Traffic Police, the guarantee fund and insurers.
Insurers will be given access to the system of the Traffic police from August.
Currently, a driver can drive recklessly, causing accidents and this does not cause the car insurance rate to increase. If such driver changes insurer every year, there is no evidence of his past violations.
The new system also avoids errors in completing the documents for a new insurance.
The rates will be different since insurers themselves will determine them. So car drivers can choose insurers.
In addition to the relieved regime for signing of insurance, the new system will allow a simplified regime for recovery of damages.
Usually, in winter the traffic accidents are rare, but insurers warn people to be careful though because they are building their insurance history similar to credit history. So keep your driving record points as low as possible to avoid higher insurance rates.
