The caretaker government on June 10 adopted a decision appointing Deputy Prime Minister for Public Order and Security and Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov as chairman of the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.
The National Commission organizes and coordinates the interaction between the individual agencies and organizations on the implementation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act, manages the implementation of the national policy and strategy in the field of counteracting this crime, annually develops and submits a national programme for prevention and combating trafficking in human beings and protecting its victims, subject to approval by the Council of Ministers.
