Voter turnout by 17.00 in Bulgaria’s April 4 parliamentary elections stands at 39.99%, the Central Election Commission announced.
The highest turnout has been registered in the district of Smolyan (Southern Bulgaria) - 46.91% and the lowest was in Razgrad (North-eastern Bulgaria) - 35.55%.
Machine voting has been suspended in the district of Veliko Turnovo (Northern Bulgaria). Some problems with the voting machines were reported in the district of Dobrich (North-eastern Bulgaria)as well, but the use of voting machines continues.
