Unique Christmas tree made with recycled construction waste will be installed in the lobby of the National Palace of Culture (NPC) in Sofia on 23rd of December. The authors have used materials from the recently launched large-scale renovation in the building, the creative team said.
The three-dimensional art installation is created from metal modules of the old ceiling of the building, decorated with colourful patches of discarded flashlights. The tree is almost eight meters high and is located next to the statue "Renaissance" in NPC’s lobby. The installation symbolizes the beginning of a change of NPC, which in 2018 will host the Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council, the announcement said.
