Code orange alert issued for snowstorms during the night

Weather warning for heavy snowfall, and in the southern and eastern regions - for heavy rainfall, is in force on January 26 for the country.

In the evening and at night it will snow everywhere. The situation will be especially critical at night, when both the snowfall and the north wind will intensify.

A second-degree warning, code orange, for conditions for blizzards and gusts, has been issued for Eastern Bulgaria and the mountain passes.

A first-degree warning, code yellow, for heavy snowfall and strong north winds, is in force in the central regions of the country.

Tomorrow, January 27, snowing and raining will decrease and in the afternoon in most areas it will stop. It will continue to snow in Northeastern Bulgaria. The wind will be moderate, in the northeastern regions temporarily strong, from the north-northwest.
