Code orange for high temperatures and hot weather was issued for the whole of Bulgaria on 8th of August, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences announced.
It will be hot and sunny on 8th of August. The maximum temperatures will be from 33° to 38°. Rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is predicted in the afternoon for the west of the country. Hauilstorms are also possible.
It will be mostly sunny over the Black Sea. The maximum temperatures will be 31-34°. The sea water temperature is 26-28 °.
Specialists advise that the hot weather may pose risks to the health of elderly people, children and people with chronic medical conditions.
