Code yellow for heavy snowfall issued for 11 districts in Bulgaria

Code yellow weather alert for heavy snowfall was issued for 11 districts in the country for 9^th of January. The forecast is for higher amounts of snow in the second half of the day. In some places the snow cover will reach 10 cm.

The yellow code is in place for the entire Western Bulgaria, as well as for the districts of Montana, Vratsa, Plovdiv, Pazardjik and Smolyan. Rainfall is expected to stop in the early hours on Friday.
