The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,078 from 16,392 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 11.
415 were confirmed from PCR and 663 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 48; Bourgas - 13; Varna - 61; Veliko Turnovo – 49; Vidin – 30; Vratsa – 11; Gabrovo – 29; Dobrich – 22; Kardzhali - 11; Kyustendil - 23; Lovech - 17; Montana - 45; Pazardzhik - 19; Pernik - 10; Pleven – 19; Plovdiv - 116; Razgrad - 5; Rousse - 62; Silistra – 16; Sliven - 24; Smolyan – 13; Sofia district - 34; Sofia city – 205; Stara Zagora - 100; Targovishte - 21; Haskovo - 18; Shoumen – 37; Yambol - 20.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 411,280.
The active cases are 42,838.
Of the total, 5,571 patients are in hospitals, 555 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,005 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 351,397;
· 25,485 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 963,539;
· 116 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 17,045.
