The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,079 from 8,476 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 28.
732 were confirmed from PCR and 347 from antigen tests.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 246,706.
The active cases are 31,402.
Of the total, 4,674 patients are in hospitals, 380 of them being in intensive care.
