The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,287 from 4,407 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 13.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 43; Bourgas - 66; Varna – 137; Veliko Turnovo - 8; Vidin – 23; Vratsa - 61; Gabrovo – 14; Dobrich - 45; Kardzhali - 6; Kyustendil - 20; Lovech - 30; Montana - 17; Pazardzhik - 53; Pernik - 38; Pleven - 25; Plovdiv - 102; Razgrad - 1; Rousse - 20; Silistra - 13; Sliven - 86; Smolyan – 8; Sofia district - 88; Sofia city – 298; Stara Zagora - 36; Targovishte - 5; Haskovo - 24; Shoumen - 3; Yambol - 17.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 178,952.
The active cases are 91,569.
Of the total, 7,224 patients are in hospitals, 595 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 2,235 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 81,757;
- 71 medical professionals infected, bringing the total to date to 7,744;
- 64 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 5,626.
