Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 163 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 163 from 1,852 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 15.

86 were confirmed from PCR and 77 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 229,679

The active cases are 23,135.

Of the total, 3,425 patients are in hospitals, 301 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 327 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 196,920;
• 68 administered doses of vaccines, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 75,388;
• 16 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,624.
