The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 166 from 790 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 21.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 191,195.
The active cases are 84,828.
Of the total, 6,624 patients are in hospitals, 536 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 1,732 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 99,758;
- 58 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 6,609.
